You can read more about Feeding America, its response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and how it provides more than 4.2 billion meals to people facing hunger each year as the largest provider of charitable food assistance in The United States, at <a href="http://www.feedingamerica.org">www.feedingamerica.org</a> Many Americans who find themselves suddenly out of work need help putting food on the table. Many more will need help soon.  According to the Federal Reserve, about 40% of Americans would struggle to cover an unexpected expense of just $400. Obviously, this hypothetical expense does not come close to equating with the unexpected loss of one’s entire income that has become the reality for people all across America. Every $1 helps provide at least 10 meals through the Feeding America network of food banks. In other words, you can make a real difference for a small cost. That means even a donation of $1.90 will provide 19 meals! Our goal of $19K would provide 190,000 meals. I have kicked things off by running a 19K and donating $10 for every kilometer ($190 = 1,900 meals).
