<div> Help South Devon Students Make a Difference in Costa Rica!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hi, I'm Shelley Betty, and I’m proud to be supporting an inspiring group of students from South Devon UTC as they prepare for the journey of a lifetime — a 27-day community and conservation expedition to Costa Rica in July 2026!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>These incredible young volunteers are stepping far outside their comfort zones — many have never even left the UK — to work on housing and school-building projects with local communities, and to support rainforest conservation efforts alongside UNICEF.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But they need your help to get there.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Each student is working hard to raise £5,280 to cover their travel and living costs. Beyond that, they're also raising funds to take out much-needed school supplies, clothing, female hygiene products, and basic medical items for the communities they'll be serving.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>From bake sales to quiz nights and sponsored walks, they're doing everything they can to reach their goals — but a little extra support could go a long way.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>  Why This Matters
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This expedition is more than just a trip — it’s a life-changing opportunity. Some of these students have overcome significant personal challenges just to take part. They’re choosing to leave behind comfort and familiarity to make a real difference in the world.

<div>* If you’re a business or individual able to offer sponsorship, we’d love to hear from you — and we’d be proud to showcase your support along the way.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>All donations through this page will be shared evenly among the team to help give each student a well-deserved boost toward their fundraising goal.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you so much for reading and supporting these young changemakers!
</div>

<div>Let’s help them build a better world — one step, one school, and one tree at a
