<div>That’s why Vets Around the Corner is launching the Community Veterinarian Program, a first-of-its-kind initiative in the Region of Durham that brings compassionate, in-home veterinary care to people who can’t access it on their own.

<div>In partnership with community partner agencies across Durham Region, our team of veterinarians will travel to:

<div>Seniors in retirement residences
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Individuals with mobility issues
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Families living on fixed or low incomes
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Community members experiencing homelessness
</div>

</div>
<div>We’re building more than a program—we’re building hope, dignity, and connection through the bond between people and their pets.

<div> Our Next Step: A Mobile Veterinary Exam Vehicle
</div>
<div>To expand our reach, we are planning to retrofit a retired ambulance into a fully equipped mobile veterinary exam room. This mobile unit will allow us to bring care directly to those who need it most, safely and efficiently—anywhere in Durham Region.
