per chi non mi conosce, mi chiamo Massimiliano e insieme alla mia gattina Schiffer stiamo combattendo contro la FIP (peritonite infettiva felina), una malattia seria e fino a pochi anni fa quasi sempre letale per i gatti. 
 
Siamo al 50º giorno di terapia con GS-441524, un antivirale che – se somministrato ogni giorno per 84 giorni – può portare a una guarigione completa. Schiffer ha risposto bene fin da subito: ha ricominciato a mangiare, si muove con più energia, e giorno dopo giorno si sta riprendendo. 
 
Finora ho coperto tutte le spese da solo, con l’aiuto della mia ragazza e della mia famiglia. Ma dopo quasi due mesi di iniezioni quotidiane, controlli veterinari e farmaci di supporto, sono arrivato al limite delle mie possibilità economiche. 
 
Per questo motivo, anche se non è facile per me chiedere, ho deciso di aprire questa raccolta fondi. L’obiettivo è riuscire a completare le ultime settimane di cura senza dover interrompere una terapia che, fino ad ora, sta funzionando. 
 
Chi vorrà contribuire, anche con una piccola somma, darà un aiuto concreto. E se non potete donare, anche una condivisione è preziosa.

Hi everyone, 
 
My name is Massimiliano. For those who don’t know me, I’m currently fighting a tough battle alongside my cat Schiffer, who was diagnosed with FIP (feline infectious peritonitis) — a serious illness that, until recently, had no real cure. 
 
We’re now on day 50 of a treatment based on GS-441524, an antiviral that, when administered daily for 84 days, offers real hope of recovery. Schiffer has responded well from the beginning: she’s eating again, moving better, and slowly getting her energy back. 
 
Until now, I’ve covered all costs on my own, with some help from my partner and family. But after nearly two months of daily injections, vet check-ups, and supportive care, I’ve reached the edge of what I can manage financially. 
 
That’s why I’ve decided to open this fundraiser. The goal is to complete the final part of Schiffer’s treatment and give her a real chance to recover fully — without having to stop now, when things are finally improving.
