<div>After months of planning, our team arrived at the Quito, Ecuador airport on February 3rd with 400 water filters to deliver to the rural indigenous community of La Calera. After leaving the airport, thieves stole all but 65 of the filters from the back of the transport truck, leaving us heartbroken. The 65 filters have been delivered to the community and community leaders have been trained in maintaining the filters.
