<div>Fish is the magic ingredient in our patient’s journey to health. It gives them life-sustaining nutrition and enables them to gain the weight necessary to return to the wild with a second chance at life!

<div>CIMWI is currently feeding 125 pounds of fish each day to our patients and this will increase to approximately 300 pounds a day as we continue to rescue multiple animals each week. These sick, injured, malnourished, and entangled marine mammals depend on CIMWI to nurse them back to health.

<div>As patients become healthier, they eat an average of 10% of their body weight each day while in rehabilitation with CIMWI. A healthier pup will eat 5 pounds of fish and an adult will eat 15-20 pounds a day. The average cost to feed one patient in rehabilitation is $500. That’s a lot of fish! We need your help to cover the cost to fill our 40’ freezer with fish.
