<div>Vor drei Jahren habe ich eine Katze aus dem Tierheim adoptiert, die kaum Chancen auf ein Zuhause hatte: Sie galt als extrem schüchtern und hat nur ein Auge. Heute ist sie meine kleine Piratin – und mein ein und alles.

<div>Schon damals habe ich eine Krankenversicherung für sie abgeschlossen, aber leider reicht das in ihrer jetzigen Situation nicht mehr aus. Ich bin Studentin und finanziell am Limit. Deshalb brauche ich eure Hilfe – für Lucy.

<div>Vor einigen Monaten fing alles an:

<div>Bei ihr wurde Bluthochdruck festgestellt, eine beginnende Niereninsuffizienz sowie eine Leberfunktionsstörung. Zudem ist sie FIV-positiv – das sogenannte Katzen-AIDS. Ihr Immunsystem arbeitet kaum noch, und bald kam auch der Verdacht auf Blutarmut hinzu.

<div>Vor Kurzem musste sie stationär in der Tierklinik behandelt werden, weil ihr Körper einfach nicht mehr mitgemacht hat. Ihre Leber- und Nierenwerte sind stark abgesackt, ebenso ihre roten Blutkörperchen. Die gute Nachricht: Leber und Nieren haben sich in der Klinik etwas stabilisiert.

<div>Aber die Blutarmut wurde schlimmer.

<div>Jetzt soll sie eine spezielle Hormontherapie bekommen – damit ihr Körper wieder rote Blutkörperchen produziert. Denn sie will leben.

<div>Lucy ist laut Tierheimunterlagen erst neun Jahre alt. Sie hat noch Zeit vor sich – wenn wir ihr helfen.

<div>Leider ist diese Therapie sehr teuer. Die Medikamente müssen aktuell dreimal pro Woche gespritzt werden – verbunden mit regelmäßigen Blutkontrollen. Allein eine einzige Behandlung kostet über 100€. Ich weiß nicht, wie ich das allein stemmen soll.
