<div>We are raising funds to support food security for our partner community-based organization <a href="https://www.communitycareinitiativeafrica.org/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Buyebe Community Care Initiative</strong></a> in rural Uganda. Buyebe provides essential support including food, shelter, and life-saving medicine to vulnerable children and widows in their community. Their mission is to make a lasting impact on the lives of those in need, ensuring their well-being and security through compassionate care and sustainable solutions.

<div>Buyebe is raising money to help with basic needs of the orphans and widows they serve. <strong>Of greatest need is food</strong>. Currently, it costs <strong>$1,144usd a month</strong> to feed the community. In order to provide more food security and longevity, Buyebe, with the assistance of ARI, does farming to provide a source of not only food, but also income through sales. It costs <strong>$3,283usd a year </strong>to maintain the farm. This includes expense for:

<div>The <strong>total annual budget for food and farming is $17,011usd</strong>. The hope is to raise enough money for the year to provide food to the orphans/widows while allowing time for their farming project to grow and lead them down the path of becoming more self-sufficient.
