<div>A Little Kindness Can Make a Big Difference — Help Us Bring Food and Hope to Families in Nicaragua This Christmas!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thanks to the generosity of so many wonderful people, we have been able to bring food, comfort, and hope to families in need in Granada, Nicaragua.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The pictures we have shared are more than moments of food distribution. They are reminders of what happens when compassion turns into action. Behind every bag of groceries is a family, a story, and a heartfelt thank you.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But the need continues, and we need your help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our goal is to continue providing food throughout the year, while also preparing something extra special for families this Christmas.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Christmas is a season of love, generosity, and giving. For many families struggling to put food on the table, a Christmas food basket can mean more than we can imagine. It means being remembered, knowing someone cares, and having a reason to smile.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every little bit helps. No contribution is too small. Whether you give $5, $10, $20, 100 or more, your generosity can make a meaningful difference. And if you are unable to donate, sharing this message is another beautiful way to help.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>100% of donations go directly toward providing food for families in need.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To everyone who has already contributed, from the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU! You are making a difference in people's lives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>And to those who would like to join us, I invite you to be part of this mission of love.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Together, we can bring food to the table, hope to the heart, and a little more joy to Christmas. ❤️
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div> Please donate or share our GoFundMe campaign. Every act of kindness matters.

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every bag of food tells a story of kindness.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Last week, because of your generosity over the last few months, families in Granada, Nicaragua, received not only food, but also hope, dignity, and the reminder that they are not forgotten.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>It is easy to see the bags of groceries in these photos. What is harder to see are the smiles of relief, the gratitude in a parent's eyes, and the comfort of knowing there will be food on the table for another week.
</div>
<div>None of this would be possible without each person who chose to give. Whether your contribution was large or small, you became part of something much bigger than yourself. You helped transform compassion into action.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>On behalf of every family we had the privilege of supporting, thank you for opening your heart.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Together, we are proving that when people come together with love and generosity, hope grows.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for making a difference. ❤️

<div>April 2026 Update
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hello everyone,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What started as a Christmas gesture over the past few years opened our eyes to a deeper reality — <strong>for many families, the struggle to put food on the table doesn’t end after the holidays. It’s something they face every single day.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We felt called not to stop.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are now continuing this effort, providing consistent, dignified food support to families who truly depend on it.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If this resonates with you, I invite you to be part of this journey.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Even a small monthly contribution — or a one-time donation — can help ensure that a child eats, that a mother worries a little less, and that a family feels supported and not forgotten.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>You truly can make a meaningful difference in a family’s life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>100% of all donations go directly toward food baskets and breakfasts.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you so much for your generosity and support.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

<div><br />
</div>
<div>Hello,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am reaching out to ask for help! Every little bit counts.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The idea is to do once again the Christmas Basket Brigade for families in need in Granada, Nicaragua.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I have organized Basket Brigades in Toronto for the last 16 years and more recently for Granada in Nicaragua, these campaigns bring not only a holiday meal to families in need but joy, hope, and the message that they are cared for.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Nicaragua is the second poorest country in Latin America. Our beautiful colonial city of Granada has been suffering tremendously due to the loss of tourism and the increased unemployment; restaurants and small hotels closed down, and people who were already struggling financially fell into even deeper poverty.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are looking to raise funds to distribute baskets to at least 200 families, the average cost of a basket will be approximately $25 US / $35 CAN. The more we raise, the more families that can receive a Christmas dinner.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are reaching out to you with great enthusiasm and a humble request for support as we prepare for the Granada Basket Brigade, a heartfelt initiative aimed at making a difference in the community.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The Granada Basket Brigade is a community-driven effort that strives to bring warmth and hope to those in need during the upcoming Christmas season, a time when many families struggle to provide for their loved ones. We believe that everyone deserves to experience the joy and comfort of the season, regardless of their circumstances.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To make this mission a reality, we seek contributions, donations, and assistance from individuals and organizations. There are ways you can help:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Donations:
</div>
<div>Financial contributions via this GoFundMe page
</div>
<div>If you are in Nicaragua you can donate bulk food items
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Spread the Word:
</div>
<div>If you are unable to contribute directly, please consider helping us by spreading the word about our initiative. Sharing our message with your network can attract more support and assistance.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We encourage you to participate and support this noble cause in any way you can.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your generosity will go a long way in bringing happiness to those who need it most and creating a sense of unity within our community. Together, we can make this Christmas season a memorable and meaningful one for those in need.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you are interested in contributing or would like more information, please do not hesitate to contact me via my LinkedIn Profile - Lola Bendana
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Since we are not able to provide tax receipts valid in the USA or Canada, we will share a letter from the institution that will be involved, confirming the amount of money received, the number of baskets/packages distributed, as well as pictures.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>100% of the money will go towards the baskets and food to be distributed. I will cover the GoFundMe fee of 2.9%, bank transfer fees, and any admin expenses necessary for the campaign.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for considering our request. We look forward to your support and the positive impact we can create together. Let's make this Christmas season one to remember.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Given the need to plan for the distribution, we would appreciate it if you could make your donations as soon as possible
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
