<div>My own baby now needs help. <strong>Chief is a parti-color cocker spaniel</strong> - he is the sweetest little boy, and the thought of losing him is destroying me. He has been in the hospital for a week now, and the bill is already $23k. He is expected to need more hospitalization after surgery today, which will be another $5-8k. <strong>This amount would overwhelm most, and I unfortunately am no different.</strong>

<div><strong>He needs this surgery today because there is a blockage that is preventing nutrients and food from making it to his intestines.</strong> He has been vomiting every time he eats for the past month, and his stomach has been terribly distended with residual fluid, causing him a lot of pain.
