<div><strong>In September of last year, my wonderful, beautiful partner Lapis passed away after a six-year fight against glioblastoma.</strong> I travelled from Oregon to the Bay Area to be by her side and assist with her care during her roughly three months in hospice. This was a physically, emotionally, and financially draining experience from which I am still recovering almost a year later.

<div>After giving our family and friends time to rest and recuperate from grief and stress,<strong> a celebration of life event is being planned for mid-September of this year</strong>. As a full-time student and artist, my income is low- I need help making the trip back to the Bay and organizing my part of the event itself.

<div><strong>I am asking for $2500 to cover the costs of travel and preparation. </strong>While its difficult to provide an exact breakdown, this money will be broken down into the following:
