Unfortunately, life’s circumstances currently have me without a job for the past 3 months. <strong>The goal was to open a private practice mental health clinic in my rural Indiana township, on the property that is now facing possible foreclosure.</strong> The office got built, but before the clientele came, I lost my job as a treatment director in foster care (3 months ago). This has me in a hole that feels insurmountable. Depression lingered for a while, but I signed up for gig economy jobs while applying for another professional job and getting the practice going. Then came a car accident (6 days ago) that has left me lucky to be alive but without a vehicle in a town that is at least 30 minutes from possible employment. I have not lived here long enough to have community resources and have been removed from married life long enough to be out-of-sight, out-of-mind from the previous network of friends.
