<div>Carlos, 38, originally from Brazil, has called Ireland home for the past six years, where he and his wife have built a beautiful life together, raising their three young children, aged 5, 4, and just 1 year old.

<div>On February 18, 2025, Carlos suffered multiple brain bleeds due to an arteriovenous malformation (AVM), a rare and serious condition. Within hours, his condition became critical, and he was placed in a coma for weeks. Since then, he has undergone many brain surgeries. His prognosis remains reserved, his level of consciousness is still minimal and he faces a long and difficult road to recovery and rehabilitation. Carlos was the sole provider for his family while his wife stayed at home caring for their children. With this sudden and devastating turn of events, his family is now facing emotional and financial hardship. We are launching this fundraiser to provide urgent and ongoing financial support to Carlos’s wife and children. Your donations will go directly toward covering essential living expenses and any unexpected needs that arise during this incredibly difficult time. No donation is too small, every contribution will make a meaningful difference in helping this young family stay afloat while they navigate the uncertain path ahead. <div>Estamos escrevendo em nome do nosso querido amigo Carlos Freire, um marido dedicado, pai amoroso e membro muito querido da Comunidade Católicos em Dublin. Carlos, de 38 anos, é brasileiro e mora na Irlanda há seis anos, onde ele e sua esposa construíram uma vida juntos, criando seus três filhos pequenos, de 5, 4 e apenas 1 aninho de idade.

<div>No dia 18 de fevereiro de 2025, Carlos sofreu diversas hemorragias cerebrais graves causadas por uma malformação arteriovenosa (MAV), uma condição rara e séria. Em poucas horas, seu estado se agravou bastante e ele foi colocado em coma por semanas. Desde então, passou por várias cirurgias cerebrais. Seu prognóstico ainda é reservado, ele permanece com nível mínimo de consciência e enfrenta uma longa e difícil jornada de recuperação e reabilitação. Carlos era o único provedor da família, enquanto sua esposa se dedicava integralmente ao cuidado dos filhos. Com essa reviravolta tão repentina e devastadora, infelizmente sua família agora encontra-se em uma delicada situação financeira e emocional.

<div>Estamos iniciando essa campanha para oferecer apoio financeiro urgente e contínuo à esposa e aos filhos do Carlos. As doações serão utilizadas para cobrir despesas básicas da família e outras necessidades imprevistas que possam surgir nesse período tão desafiador.
