<div>My mother is 85 years old.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>She has survived cancer, pneumonia, a ventilator, and a broken femur — and she is still here, still fighting with quiet grace.
</div>

<div>And I am her only caregiver.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>There are no nurses on rotation. No paid team. Just me.
</div>
<div>I feed her, lift her, soothe her pain, talk to her when she’s afraid, and sit beside her through the long nights when neither of us can sleep. I do this while trying to keep my work going, while building a vision that’s been two years in the making — because I know I’m not the only one.

<div>Too many elders are suffering in silence.

<div>Too many people are running on empty — emotionally, financially, spiritually.

But nothing prepared me for what it means to be a caregiver. No one trains you for the slow grief of watching someone you love fade... while you still have to keep the lights on, cook the meals, pay the bills, and try not to cry.
