But as a mother, sometimes love pushes you to speak when you’d rather stay silent. Today, I’m writing because I need help — and saying that out loud is one of the hardest things I’ve ever done.

<div>These past few months have felt like a storm that just won't pass. One thing after another has gone wrong work hours on a decline, bills on a steady flow,  a family crisis that lead to my 5 children losing their father in an attempt to reach out to the police for help. Now what im left with is 5 children including a 2 month old newborn, possible legal system fees, rent is due our loyal family dog is completely out of food and nothing in my account but worry. Every day and night I try to hide the panic in my voice praying they don’t see how scared I am. I smile when I feel like crying, and I tell them everything will be okay… even when I’m not sure how.

<div>I’ve always tried to be strong. To hold it all together. To be the mom who makes everything work no matter what. But right now, I’m exhausted. I’m stretched thinner than I ever thought possible, and the truth is, I can’t do this alone anymore.
