<div>YOUR NAME ON THE SAIL

</div>

<div>Every donor name will be printed on the mainsail.

</div>

<div>Hi, I’m Emanuel, from Bucharest, Romania.

</div>

<div>By day, I deliver food on my scooter. By night, I work on the plans for a wooden sailboat a Gentleman Cutter, built with my own hands, plank by plank.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>My dream isn’t just to reach the sea.

</div>

<div>It’s to prove that in Romania, real boats can still be built with craftsmanship, patience, and soul.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I graduated from the Mircea cel Bătrân Naval Academy as a marine engineer, and a few years ago, I built my first small boat, “Barca lui Ion” — the boat that taught me that wood, salt, and dreams can last a lifetime.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Now, I’m starting something bigger:

</div>

<div>a full-size 43 foot traditional sailboat, handcrafted in Romania, using old techniques and modern dedication.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Every screw, every piece of wood, and every video I film is part of something greater a story about bringing back a lost craft and inspiring others to believe that handmade dreams still float. ⚓

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This GoFundMe will help me cover the cost of materials, tools, and equipment to document the build for everyone following the project online.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>If every person donates just one euro (one coin) this boat will come to life faster than I could ever imagine.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Every euro counts. Every plank is a step toward the sea.

</div>

<div>Thank you for helping me keep this Romanian dream afloat.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><em>A few photos here tell the story better than words ever could:</em>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>the first small wooden boat I built — “Barca lui Ion” — my first real step toward the sea,

</div>

<div>a moment from the maritime exhibition, where I shared the dream with others,

</div>

<div>and a reference image of what’s next — the sailboat I’m now building, plank by plank. ⚓

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>
Fun fact: the Romanian currency is called ‘leu’, which translates to ‘lion’.<br />

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>If you’d like to see the story behind this dream — from my first small boat “Barca lui Ion” to the early stages of this new build — I share everything as it happens.

</div>

<div><strong>From the smell of sawdust to the first splash of water, it’s all there:</strong>
