<div>My name is Heather, and I was born and raised in Jamaica. Hurricane Melissa has devastated our island and left destruction like I have never seen before. This is not just something I saw on the news — this is personal. My godfather lost his entire home. Several friends and family members have been displaced and are without the basic necessities they need to survive and begin rebuilding.
