<div>Well, if you know me, you know I wear my heart on my sleeve. So, I have horrible news: <strong>My husband is being detained by ICE at Stewart Detention Center in Lumpkin, Georgia.</strong> He was arrested on Friday, September 19th, 2025, for a traffic violation and transferred to 3 separate facilities before being sent to Stewart this past Friday, October 3rd, 2025.

<div>My husband is not only married to an American, but he is legally in this country on a work permit and awaiting an asylum visa. That being said, he has a legitimate path to citizenship. My husband, Jorge, is a hardworking, contributing member of society who loves his work, me, our dog, and his community.

<div>This has torn a hole in our family like you cannot imagine. My husband is resilient and is in a positive mindset. However, this system is designed to tear people down. <strong>I will NOT let THEM win.</strong>
