<div>My name is Nicole Farquharson, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart after <strong>Hurricane Melissa devastated my hometown of Whitehouse, Westmoreland, Jamaica.</strong>

<div>The hurricane made landfall with unimaginable force, destroying homes, tearing down power lines, flooding entire communities, and leaving families without food, clean water, and shelter. Many people I grew up with — families, children, and the elderly — are now homeless and struggling to survive.

<div>I may be far away, but my heart is right there with my community. I’ve spoken to loved ones who have lost everything — their homes, their clothes, and their hope. I am starting this GoFundMe to raise funds that will go directly toward providing essential supplies such as:
