<div>The Hammond family of Marble Falls, Texas, was driving to camp early on the morning of July 5th. As they left, a flash flood swept through the area and a bridge collapsed as they were crossing Cow Creek. Their car dropped into the rushing water, and only five of the car’s six occupants reached shore safely. Malaya Hammond got swept away in the rapid waters after opening the door for everyone. Tragically, we have learned that she did not survive.
