<div>In late August this year, I will be shaving my head to raise funds for the Lung Foundation Australia in honour of my dad Grahame, who is currently fighting his own battle with terminal lung cancer.

<div>Despite the many challenges my dad has had to face this year, he has continued to take it all in his stride, with unrelenting courage and tenacity.

<div>One of his most recent challenges has been having to endure chemotherapy, which has seen him lose all of his hair. 
</div>

<div>I have chosen to shave my head in solidarity with my dad and to raise funds for a cause that is close to all of our hearts, as lung cancer has affected a number of loved ones in our family. 
</div>

<div>With my dad as my inspiration, I hope to raise funds to help other families have access to early intervention and treatment for this insidious disease.
