<div>Founded by <strong>Grammy-nominated reggae legend and humanitarian Judy Mowatt</strong>, renowned for her work with <strong>Bob Marley and the Wailers </strong>and<strong> the I-Threes</strong>, <strong>Judy Mowatt Outreach Ministries (JMOM) </strong>has dedicated years to serving vulnerable communities throughout Jamaica through <strong>healthcare outreach, food security initiatives, education, and community development.</strong>

<div>On August 22–23, 2026, JMOM, in partnership with International Medical Relief (IMR), will host the inaugural Bluefields Rising Health &amp; Recovery Fair at Belmont Academy in Bluefields, Westmoreland, Jamaica. More than 50 volunteer healthcare professionals, community leaders, and local partners will provide free medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, mental health, and recovery services to more than 1,500 residents.

<div>Bluefields Rising is more than a health fair—it is the launch of a long-term community health and recovery initiative. Together, JMOM, International Medical Relief, Belmont Academy, volunteer healthcare professionals, community leaders, and local partners are transforming compassion into action.

<div>Over two days, more than 50 volunteer healthcare professionals will deliver an estimated $250,000 in free healthcare and recovery services to more than 1,500 residents while laying the foundation for ongoing community outreach throughout the year.
