<div>2024 wasn’t simply a POTUS election year...it might have also been the year that we got our FOURTH new coronavirus...and maybe not even known about it:

<div>Our first two new coronaviruses in 2003 and 2012 were managed reasonably OK. The US avoided major problems, most Americans had no clue they even happened in other parts of the world, and epidemic response professionals learned a lot. Unfortunately, our third coronavirus in 2019 got POLITICAL.

<div>Politicians interfered with FEMA procedures and mis-routed critical medical supplies AWAY from our over-loaded EMT’s, therapists, nurses, and doctors. State Governors demanded that US Army infectious disease care clinics be placed in areas where no one could access them. City Mayors forced out qualified Commissioners of Health, Sanitation, Education, and Buildings who begged them to follow normal 130-year old US epidemic response standards. Elected School Boards and City Councils promoted experimental drugs and other destructive health habits – instead of teaching about germ exposure, sanitation, personal hygiene, hydration, ventilation, and oxygenation. Service interruptions destroyed our children’s development, socialization, and learning and worsened our own mental, physical, and emotional health.

<div>One POTUS actually selected a former pharmaceutical lawyer to head the HHS and to lead an epidemic response logistics and coordination committee, despite ZERO qualifications or experience. At first, this seemed somewhat "OK" for possibly obtaining a rapid, low-cost, desiccated/dead-virus vaccine from the private sector – which is how the US Army has typically handled cold/flu epidemics since about 1945. But he turned out to be a total dud who passed off his Emergency Support Function leadership responsibilities to a socially-awkward medical researcher, instead of to smart and capable leaders of the US military.

<div>The attorney was replaced with another attorney with even LESS knowledge about epidemics, and no one still knew what to do. Now we have yet ANOTHER attorney leading the HHS, and he has ZERO logistics or biosafety/biodefense experience, either.
