<div>Eight teachers are currently living at the Sayulita Elementary School on Avenida del Palmar, sharing just four small rooms with no air conditioning, unsafe electrical conditions, poor plumbing, and no hot water.

<div>They work hard every day to teach and care for our children, while living in extremely difficult conditions and earning very modest salaries.
</div>

<div>Some of these teachers leave their own babies and families behind during the week so they can come to Sayulita and teach our kids.
</div>

<div>For those of us who live here, these teachers are not strangers. They are part of our community. They teach, encourage, and support our children every single day.
</div>

<div>Now it’s our turn to take care of them.

<div>We’re raising $5,000 USD to create additional living space, install air conditioning, improve the electrical and plumbing systems, provide hot water, and make these living spaces safer, cooler, and more comfortable for the eight teachers who call them home.
