<div><strong>From National Reading Month… to a Year-Round Literacy Movement</strong>

<div>This past March, during <strong>National Reading Month</strong>, we launched our <strong>Bee Reads Literacy Initiative</strong>—and the impact was truly inspiring.

<div>Through community partnerships and local events, we:
</div>
<div>•	Hosted <strong>live children’s readings</strong>
</div>
<div>•	Engaged families with <strong>interactive literacy </strong>activities
</div>
<div>•	Placed books directly into the hands of children—many for the very first time.

<div><strong>To every supporter, donor, and partner—thank you.</strong> Because of you, we sparked joy, learning, and confidence in young readers across our community.

<div><strong>Now We’re Expanding: Bee Reads Across Prince George’s County.</strong> What started as a National Reading Month initiative is now growing into a <strong>countywide literacy effort.</strong>

<div>Our goal is to bring <strong>Bee Reads</strong> into:

<div>•	Libraries

<div>•	Summer programs and camps

<div>At the heart of this initiative is our children’s book:

<div>This engaging, faith-based story helps children learn values like:

<div>We are combining <strong>literacy &amp; character development</strong> to help children grow both academically and emotionally. Many children in our communities do not have books at home. Without access to books, it becomes harder to:

</div>
<div>•	Build confidence in learning
</div>
<div>•	Foster a lifelong love of reading
