<div>On Saturday, January 24, 2026, before the storm that swept most states in the country, our neighbor's home became rapidly engulfed in flames, and thick, black smoke billowed from everywhere. Luckily, off-duty Police Chief Dan Hyman happened upon the scene. By grabbing a nearby ladder and shouting out, he saved a man who had been sleeping upstairs. Chief Hyman guided the man to safety even before the fire trucks arrived.
