<div><strong>Glen Head, Sea Cliff and Glenwood Landing</strong> are on the front line of a problem none of us asked for: three high-voltage, EMF-emitting power lines, a massive new substation, and additional underwater cables in Hempstead Harbor—collectively called the <strong>Propel Project.</strong> Similar cables are slated for <strong>Oceanside</strong>, <strong>Garden City</strong>, <strong>Syosset</strong>, <strong>Great Neck,</strong> and <strong>many other Nassau communities.</strong> In short, Long Island is being treated as a convenient conduit for a $3.26 billion power-export scheme that delivers few, if any, local benefits.
