<div><strong>Let’s raise $2,500 for my collaborators on "Werk, Boogie: a one-lady show"!</strong>
</div>

</div>
<div>Werk, Boogie is happening <strong>Saturday, November 7 at the Rat Theater</strong> in Brooklyn, and we are raising $2,500 to pay the artists and professionals helping bring the show to life, as well as to cover theater rental, materials, and transportation.

</div>
<div>While completing my "Luv, Boogie" EP and working as a dancer and teacher, I became disabled. Pain impacted my mobility and creativity, but after a major surgery and some pain management, I wanted to figure out how I would perform in this different body.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At the same time, my next dance music EP was taking shape around the theme of work. I began conceptualizing ideas and writing lyrics. I was also getting inspired by drag artists and the way they perform original songs.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In July 2025, my teaching artist colleague Yolanda Kae posted on LinkedIn that her one-person show workshops had openings. I signed up and began crafting "Werk, Boogie" as a one-person variety show. We hosted an informal reading in October 2025 and received great feedback.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>After much planning and work over the past year, Werk, Boogie: a one-lady show is premiering <strong>November 7</strong>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>But a one-person show is never produced by one person.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’ve hired a director, prop designer, and visual/video producer, and we also need to cover theater rental, materials, and transportation. <strong>Help "Werk, Boogie" come alive by backing my crew!</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Any amount is helpful. Whether you donate $5, $25, or $100, your contribution helps me compensate the people who are putting their time, creativity, and skills into this project. <strong>And if you can't donate right now, sharing this campaign is another meaningful way to support us.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Every donation and every share brings us closer to our $2,500 goal and helps make this show possible.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Tickets for the show will be sold separately</strong> and are available through my website, missalboogie.com.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for believing in "Werk, Boogie", supporting independent artists, and helping me bring this show to life.
