<div>My son Titan has a rare genetic condition called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, and up until now I forced myself to believe everything was going to work out, that it would all be ok. We are officially living in the future I used to be so terrified of, and I am struggling to navigate this. My son’s condition is progressive and causes his muscles to deteriorate the older he gets and the more he grows, starting in his skeletal muscles and then moving into his lungs and eventually his beautiful heart.
