</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Let's help Yahyvic on his life path, so that, in the face of any Obstacle, he raises a flag of Victory.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Birth is, for most, a soft and hopeful start. But for Yahyvic, his arrival in the world was the beginning of one of his first battles. He was born with Apert's Syndrome, a genetic condition that not only affected his hands and feet with syndactily (fused fingers), but also led to potential psychomotor retardation. As if that wasn't enough, he also had coana atresia: his nasal passages were blocked.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>The doctor who received him was not a perinatologist, so, due to her inexperience, she ignored the vital verification of her airways. This omission had devastating consequences: the deprivation of oxygen produced cerebral hypoxia, affecting his young brain. In the face of adversity, his survival instinct was his only ally, forcing him to learn to breathe through his mouth minutes before birth.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Given his inability to breathe properly, he was intubated. Once there, it was determined that the problem was in the atresia of coanas, so he was rushed to a specialized hospital. There, four days after birth, he underwent crucial surgery to correct the atresia of coanas. However, their struggle was just beginning. While he was recovering, when his small body was struggling to heal, the breathing machine that assisted him failed. When the doctors realized, he had already received a second hypoxia, this time on an even larger scale, adding more challenges to his already difficult path.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>As a result of this, Yahyvic, months old, began to experience a strange seizure, which presented itself as if it were respiratory apnea, as if his brain forgot how to breathe.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>As a result of all these trials, his life has been transformed into a constant act of resilience. You must take several anticonvulsant medications to control the sequelae of hypoxia, and permanent therapy has become a fundamental part of your daily life.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>But the road doesn't end. By unanimous decision of all the specialists who treat him, he underwent surgery for the dislocation of both hips. During the procedure, an unexpected and painful complication arose: the right femur opened in two parts with the screws installed during the surgery. This took him back to the operating room to be operated on again. Today, this little warrior is still convalescing, bravely facing every obstacle that comes his way. His story is a testimony of unwavering strength and spirit.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Yahyvic, today, is seven years old. Although he does not walk or sit alone, against all diagnoses, he smiles, laughs out loud, shares with his sisters, recognizes mommy and dad, but above all, fights to continue living.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>If you want to help, Yahyvic needs medicines, therapies, equipment and a suitable vehicle with wheelchair access for his transfer to therapies, medical consultations and perhaps even to go for a walk and take a break away from home.
