<div>On July 13, while he was peacefully parked in the parking lot of the Perkins restaurant in Lehigh Acres, a drunk driver violently struck him with his vehicle. This irresponsible act has left my grandfather with extremely serious injuries:

<div>Most devastating: his heart recently stopped, and he had to be resuscitated. He is now in an induced coma while fighting for his life.

<div>My grandfather is a hardworking, loving man, and deeply loved by his family and the community. This tragedy has been a very hard emotional and financial blow to all of us. The medical expenses are already overwhelming, and he faces a long road to recovery, God willing.
