<div>El pasado lunes 26 de mayo, sufrí un accidente grave aquí en México. Tuve una luxación expuesta en los ligamentos y tendones de mi pie derecho, lo que me llevó a una operación de emergencia. Los doctores me dijeron que, si no actuaban a tiempo, podía perder el pie.

<div>Gracias al apoyo de mis amigos aquí en México, logramos hacer una colecta para cubrir parte de los gastos de la clínica. Sin embargo, la situación sigue siendo muy complicada. Después de la cirugía, los médicos me informaron que, debido a la falta de irrigación, el tejido de mi pie se necrosó (se volvió muerto), lo cual pone en riesgo la piel y hace que el proceso de recuperación sea mucho más largo, costoso y delicado.

<div>Aún tengo que cubrir muchos gastos: medicinas, curaciones frecuentes, y una rehabilitación física especializada para evitar mayores secuelas. Mi objetivo es poder volver a caminar con normalidad, y ojalá, con esfuerzo y fe, volver a jugar voleibol, el deporte que amo y que ha sido parte fundamental de mi vida.

<div>My name is Jean Pierre Proaño Felix, and I want to share with you a very difficult moment I am going through, in the hope of receiving your support.

<div>On Monday, May 26th, I suffered a serious accident here in Mexico. I had an exposed dislocation in the ligaments and tendons of my right foot, which led to an emergency operation. The doctors told me that if they did not act in time, I could lose my foot.

<div>Thanks to the support of my friends here in Mexico, we managed to hold a fundraiser to cover part of the clinic expenses. However, the situation remains very complicated. After the surgery, the doctors informed me that, due to a lack of blood flow, the tissue in my foot became necrotic (it died), which puts the skin at risk and makes the recovery process much longer, more expensive, and delicate.

<div>I still have many expenses to cover: medication, frequent dressings, and specialized physical rehabilitation to avoid further complications. My goal is to be able to walk normally again, and hopefully, with effort and faith, return to playing volleyball, the sport I love and that has been a fundamental part of my life.
