Our work brings together archival records, Indigenous knowledge, and digital methods to make this history easier to access, understand, and share. We are identifying, mapping, and presenting information on Australian Wars and Resistance movements, the events that comprise them, and the thousands of people who fought in them.

<div>Calls for recognition of these conflicts from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and historians go back at least as far as the 1838 Day of Mourning. Acknowledgement, public debate and decision making should be reliably informed. Our work is another step in a long journey for future generations.
