<div>Hello beautiful people!!
</div>
<div>This is a birthday fundraiser for our lovely friend, Asuka.
</div>
<div>My name is Chie. I am fundraising on behalf of her.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Asuka is turning 50 on September 9th this year.
</div>
<div>This is very exciting for her and her friends like me.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Here is the message from Asuka!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>My 50th birthday is coming up soon, and my wish is to receive a birthday gift which I’ll appreciate for my whole life and I’ll get to tell everyone the story of how I got my eyes from my friends and family for my birthday! And the biggest benefit is since elementary school, I have been wearing eyeglasses, and after the operation, I will say goodbye to my glasses forever!</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>Yes, I would like to have eye lenses as my birthday gift (5$-10$ donation) which are inserted into my eyes for my early-age cataract surgery at the end of this year or early next year. lol.</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>Not surprisingly, and good to know, this is not covered by most medical insurance in Canada, and it costs a lot. The first estimate was $2500 for each eye, and so I freaked out and came up with this fundraising idea. Then, my specialist told me that I could receive it for half the price, and then I felt somewhat relieved. So, it turns out that the surgery itself is covered!</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>So,I thought it would also be good to save money now for eye lenses, hearing aides, and dentures before I enter my senior life. All of these things have pretty high costs.</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>Regardless, I love my idea and I want to keep it because my friends and family have been giving me birthday gifts over the years, but I don’t really need anything more in my tiny room. Honestly, I don’t need any gift, and I will just be so happy to see you on my birthday, especially if I haven’t seen you in ages! Luckily, I also have friends all over the world and I often dream about meeting you again as soon as I can.</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>Sadly, all my blood relatives live in Japan, and I lost a few of them in the last two years, so my friends who are all around me are who I count as my family.</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>I appreciate all your time. You are my valuable friends and family despite the fact that maybe we don’t meet that often. Nevertheless, I keep my friendships and family values in my life.</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>Love from the bottom of my heart,</em>
</div>
<div><em>Asuka</em>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Let's celebrate her 50th birthday in a good way all together!
</div>
<div>Thank you for reading.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Love,

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
