I'm raising funds for my own art project: a transformable carbon fiber coffee table that also serves as a prototype for an architectural sculpture. This piece is now in its No. 7 iteration, and I'm using this fundraiser as an experiment in crowd-sourced funding to build support from backers or collectors for future arch scul prototypes.

The project centers on a coffee table format because I believe it can be more interesting to invest in as a centerpiece for social engagement, while also functioning as part of a larger artistic and sculptural concept. This prototype is part of a larger ongoing project that will likely continue into future iterations, so support would help me keep building on this process over time. Rather than responding to a crisis, I'm inviting people to support a creative process and help move this prototype forward.

Funds will go toward:

Carbon fiber material

Epoxy resin coating

Lazy Susan apparatus

Support in the next 7 to 10 business days, or later, would help me continue developing this iteration and cover the material costs needed to build it. Because this project will likely continue through future prototypes, recurring donations would help me keep pace with ongoing material costs as the work evolves, and one-time donations are also deeply appreciated.

If this idea speaks to you, I would be grateful for any contribution or share. Your support would help me keep experimenting, refining the prototype, and seeing where this project can go next.
