<div>Dear Friends,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>After 1.5 years of attempting to re-establish myself in the U.S., it has become crystal clear that there is greater opportunity and overall stability abroad and have begun the process of relocating to Europe.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This decision was prompted through deep reflection on how my nervous system has been feeling while living in the U.S. and by a recent acceptance I received into an MA in Choreography program.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>This GoFundMe is initiated with the intention to support me with securing the funds that I need to cover my living expenses while I am studying within this MA. </strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I was blessed to receive a very competitive scholarship that covers tuition and health insurance for the two years of the studies, but in order to concretize this opportunity I need to lock in the financial support cover my monthly costs. The university made a surprise exception for me solely for this first semester where I have been able to engage with the program remotely.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>As a dance artist with various access needs, working long hours in front of a computer or standing for several hours on end is simply not physically possible for me, which has made securing traditional employment opportunities quite challenging. This is why I am turning towards GoFundMe as the platform to help me secure the funds that I need.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At minimum, my goal is to gather $1,125/month times the remaining months of the program (16.5) = approximately $18k - $19k.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your donations will be allocated in the following manner:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Residency Permit Application Processing Fee = $150 <strong>(received and allocated)</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Monthly Public Transport Pass (x) 16 months = $1,808 (<strong>needed by Jan. 12, 2026)</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Minimum Monthly Requirement / Goal ($1125 x 16.5 months of the program aka Jan. 2026 - June 2027 to cover my rent, groceries, utilities, medical visits, etc) = $18562.5<strong> (ongoing)</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><em>Note: I am already traveling throughout Europe for the holidays on my tourist visa, which is why flight costs are not included in the aforementioned amounts</em>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This semester, I have been infused with inspiration and a new sense of hope as I continue to engage with the cohort, supervisors, and guest artists and can already feel momentum being generated within my body, cellularly-emotionally-physically-intellectually. This forward movement is one of the greatest gifts especially after such a tumultuous time frame. I can already envision how the two years I will commit to this program will have long-lasting impacts on my life and overall holistic well-being. I feel proud to say that I finally feel ready to commit to staying in one place for a while and if you know me well, you know that this is a big deal for me! <strong><em>*cue the tiny harps and violins* </em></strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>All I need to make this shift happen is your financial support and encouragement! </strong>Please reach out if you have further questions and/or if you have other ideas or ways you would like to support my journey.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for taking the time to read through this message and shout-out to all of the transition angels I have had thus far and will encounter along my path (including those who have provided feedback and support to keep going)!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Bless you, love you, amen.</strong>
