<div>The Queensland Nepalese Centre (QNCC) is building a new community centre in Brisbane will serve as a place of worship and a showcase of Nepalese culture and heritage for generations to come. The centre will include a Pashupatinath Temple, Bouddha Stupa, and a community hall.

<div>The QNCC has almost completed the acquisition of the land needed for this project, which has been a labour of love for the entire Nepalese community in Queensland. The QNCC has signed a contract to purchase the land for $1.45 million, and the QNCC would like to assure the community of its full commitment to purchasing the land on the settlement date, which is currently scheduled for 9 October 2023.

<div>The total cost of the settlement is $1,520,000, which includes necessary expenses such as stamp duties and registration fees. The QNCC has made significant progress and has raised $1,210,000 so far. However, the QNCC still needs to raise $310,000 before the settlement date. The QNCC firmly believes that acquiring the land without any financial liabilities for the community is of paramount importance.

The donations collected through this campaign will be used for the purchase of the land and any surplus money will be used for building the Pashupatinath temple and Bouddha stupa. <div>क्वीन्सल्याण्डका सम्पूर्ण नेपाली समुदायको स्नेह एवम् सहयोगले यस आयोजनाका लागि आवश्यक पर्ने जग्गा प्राप्तिको काम अहिले अन्तिम चरणमा छ । जग्गा किन्नका लागि QNCC ले $१.४५ मिलियनमा सम्झौता गरिसकेको छ, र हाललाई ९ अक्टोबर २०२३ को लागि तय गरिएको स्वामित्व हस्तान्तरणको योजना बमोजिम QNCC ले जग्गा खरिद गर्ने प्रक्रिया सम्पन्न गर्ने कुराको पूर्ण प्रतिबद्धता यहाँहरुका माझ ब्यक्त गर्दछौं ।
