<div>Early in the morning on Wednesday, September 10, Anna found Corey unresponsive &amp; having a seizure. He was taken by ambulance to Tacoma General Hospital, where, due to his condition &amp; severe confusion/agitation, doctors made the decision to place him in a medically induced coma on a ventilator in the ICU.

<div>Corey has remained in the intensive care unit under a medically induced coma on a ventilator since then. Doctors have attempted wake-up trials, but so far he has not been able to come out of sedation calmly or fully follow commands &amp; keep his oxygen level up, so each time he has been placed back under sedation to be back into a medically induced coma. The positive news is that his vitals are stable &amp; tests such as CT, EEG &amp; MRI have come back normal, suggesting the seizure was not due to a brain abnormality but likely other factors that can be addressed.

<div>During this time, both Anna &amp; Corey are out of work on unpaid leave. Bills are piling up, including their mortgage, daily expenses, care for their pets, &amp; now the extremely high medical costs of ICU care.
