<div>A few weeks ago, my husband Kevin was hit by a car while riding his e-bike in Marathon. The accident left him with a broken hip requiring three surgeries and what will be months of physical therapy and recovery.

<div><strong>Kevin is one of the most selfless people I know</strong> — always the first to help others without hesitation and never asking for anything in return. Now, he’s the one who needs help.

<div>Because of the extent of the injury, Kevin is unable to work right now. We’ve also had to leave our home — a boat — because he physically can’t get on or off it in his condition. We’re currently renting a place on land during his recovery, which has added a major financial strain on top of the medical bills and lost income.
