<div>Recently, Kirinde began experiencing severe headaches, nausea, and dizziness. He went to the doctor, and an examination revealed a subdural hematoma—a buildup of blood between his skull and brain. This is a consequence of an old injury he sustained in a motorcycle accident while bringing food to the children. He didn't think it was serious at the time, but now the hematoma poses a direct threat to his life.

<div>Doctors have warned that without urgent neurosurgery, the hematoma could lead to severe brain damage and even death. The surgery requires $4,500.

<div>What Will Happen to the Children Without Kirinde?
</div>
<div>Kirinde is the sole hope for these children. He provides them with food, a roof over their heads, education, and medical care. Without him, they could be left on the streets, defenseless and hungry.

<div>Among the children he cares for:

<div>12 have only their father;
</div>
<div>5 have only their mother;
</div>
<div>6 are complete orphans;
</div>
<div>7 are from extremely poor families who cannot care for them.
