<div>Tom wasn’t just a teacher in the Mount Sinai School District he was a mentor, a role model, and a source of encouragement for thousands of students and athletes. He loved teaching, believed deeply in his students, and coached his girls basketball players as if they were his own daughters. He worked hard building confidence, discipline, and leadership that extended far beyond the court.

<div>To carry his impact forward, our family is establishing an annual <strong>$500-$1,000 scholarship </strong>that will be awarded each year to a graduating athlete who plans to pursue a career in education.

<div>This scholarship will recognize a student-athlete who reflects the qualities Tom lived every day:
