<div>I never thought in a million years to start a fundraiser page, let alone one for myself.....

<div>Things can change within days, hours, minutes, or even seconds....So I will just jump in the middle of the story, and as you know me, you should also know my kind of (strange) humor, so here I go.....

<div>Just in case you don't know me, I wish that could be different....maybe another time/life.

<div>On my 48th birthday, I gave myself bronchitis as a present: 4 weeks of shortness of breath and medication, the virus left the body, but the symptoms decided to stay. After some CT-Scan, MRIs, pleurapunctions, and biopsies, the nice doctor gave me the bad news... <strong>Lung Cancer Stage IV</strong>

<div>The first thing which came up in my mind is... those 30 years of smoking, finally catched up on me... the 2nd thing.. hmmm how long do I still have? Once I realized that I was asking myself this out loud, the nice doctor answered the questions.

<div>The type of lung cancer I have is a genetic one, and for the second question, we don't know the answer.

<div>As you might know, I moved out of my birth nest in the Netherlands years and years ago and wandered the planet (Germany, Romania, Hungary, etc., etc.) to meet you, and the time has come to return to my birth nest in the Netherlands...which unfortunately costs money, which I simply don't have...due to medical bills, sick benefits, etc.... Hence, I am asking for your help.

<div>Amint rájöttem, hogy ezt hangosan kimondtam, az orvos már válaszolt is.

<div>A tüdőrákom egy genetikai típus, és a második kérdésre – nos, arra nincs válasz.
