Como padeço de ataxia de Friedreich (uma doença genética rara, neurodegenerativa e incurável) e estou confinada a uma cadeira de rodas, estou reformada por invalidez. Mas tento não deixar que as minhas (muitas) limitações me definam. Sempre gostei muito de escrever e, para mim, a escrita funciona como uma catarse, pois é através da mesma que exorcizo os meus demónios. Também é com palavras que construo os meus sonhos e desenho os meus pesadelos, mas não me considero uma escritora, pois tal seria demasiada presunção – antes uma autora, que já teve a felicidade de ver alguns dos seus trabalhos publicados.
