<div>Husam Marouf, écrivain et journaliste palestinien, vit aujourd’hui dans la bande de Gaza avec sa femme et leurs deux jeunes enfants. Malgré le cessez-le-feu entré en vigueur récemment, les conditions de vie y restent extrêmement difficiles : pénurie de nourriture, manque d’accès aux soins, infrastructures détruites et insécurité permanente.

<div>Cette cagnotte vise à apporter un soutien matériel concret à Husam et à sa famille afin de les aider à faire face aux conditions de vie à Gaza et à préparer leur évacuation si celle-ci devient possible.

<div>Son ami et collègue écrivain palestinien Yousri Al Ghoul, qui vivait également à Gaza, a pu être évacué avec sa famille le 15 décembre 2025 et vit aujourd’hui à Lausanne, en Suisse, où il tente de reconstruire sa vie après des mois de guerre.

<div><strong>Qui sont-ils ?</strong>
</div>
<div><strong>Husam Marouf </strong>est écrivain et journaliste palestinien, originaire de la bande de Gaza. Diplômé de l’Université islamique de Gaza, il s’est spécialisé dans les médias arabes. Il a été reporter pour de nombreux médias dans le monde arabe, dont Al Jazeera. Écrivain et poète, Husam Marouf a reçu plusieurs distinctions littéraires, notamment le Palestinian Prose Poem Award de la Mahmoud Darwish Foundation en 2025.

<div>Il est l’auteur de deux œuvres majeures : The Smell of Glass is Like Death (2015) et The Loyal Barber to His Dead Clients (2022).

<div>Husam a été accepté dans le programme Programme PAUSE, un dispositif français destiné à accueillir et protéger des chercheurs et artistes en danger. Cette reconnaissance ouvre la possibilité pour lui de poursuivre son travail d’écriture en sécurité si son évacuation devient possible.

<div><strong>Husam Marouf</strong>, a Palestinian writer and journalist, currently lives in the Gaza Strip with his wife and their two young children. Despite the recent ceasefire, living conditions there remain extremely difficult: shortages of food, limited access to medical care, destroyed infrastructure, and constant insecurity.

<div>This fundraiser aims to provide concrete material support to Husam and his family, helping them cope with daily life in Gaza and prepare for a possible evacuation should one become possible.

<div>His friend and fellow Palestinian writer Yousri Al Ghoul, who also lived in Gaza, was able to evacuate with his family on December 15, 2025. He now lives in Lausanne, Switzerland, where he is trying to rebuild his life after months of war.

<div>Husam Marouf is a Palestinian writer and journalist from the Gaza Strip. A graduate of the Islamic University of Gaza, he specialized in Arab media and has worked as a reporter for several media outlets in the Arab world, including Al Jazeera.

<div>A writer and poet, Husam Marouf has received several literary distinctions, including the Palestinian Prose Poem Award from the Mahmoud Darwish Foundation in 2025.
