<div>On his routine bike ride to work, Pastor Nathan Hawkins was t-boned by a full-grown buck. The impact knocked him off the road and into a concrete drainage ditch, resulting in a broken wrist and rib. Due to the severity of his injuries and the remote location, he had to be LifeFlighted to Nashville.

<div>We’re incredibly thankful he survived, but the incident was traumatic and could have ended much worse.
</div>

<div>Pastor Nathan is a kind, humble man known for always putting others first. As a pastor, father, and friend, he has served countless people with quiet strength, compassion, and unwavering faith. He would never ask for help — so I’m doing it on his behalf.

<div>The bicycle he was riding was a Trek Domane AL 5 Gen 4, a bike he had purchased just weeks before the crash. He’d worked hard to afford it, completing a 92-mile ride shortly before the accident. It was destroyed in the crash.

<div>Between the LifeFlight, hospital bills, and being temporarily unable to work, Pastor Nathan is now facing a heavy financial burden.
