<div>2 years ago, I was diagnosed with lung cancer in my right upper lobe. I went into the hospital in October of 2023 to remove it. Then there were complications with my middle lobe. There was an air leak, and I had to go back in and remove it. This is the most painful surgery you can have. Then they sent me home briefly with chest tubes and told me to come back 2 days later to have them removed. And then come back again in 2 days to have a CT scan done and see the doctor. To my surprise, my lower lobe had a pneumothorax leaking air, and I was admitted back into the hospital to put in another chest tube. I said to him, what happened? (Did you nick it?) And his face turned bright red. Now it’s the 3rd week of November, and I was just lying there on suction, which felt like forever. Then in December, they came up with a procedure called an omental flap, in which they remove the omentum that’s in our stomach, a layer of fat thin like chicken skin that holds our organs in place. And if not careful, removing it can cause other problems. I didn’t know this GS never performed one before. So he removed it and placed it in my chest cavity, and then the thoracic surgeon covered my lower lobe with it. They sent me home about a week later, and I went to have what I thought was a bowel movement, but it was 4 1/2 feet of intestines coming out. I had a follow-up with him the next day and showed him pictures of it, and he said he didn’t know what it was and sent me home without even doing anything. My pain increased significantly, and I was in a fetal position when my daughter came in and took me to the ER. I didn’t want to go back to that hospital! They did a CT scan and found my intestines to be all twisted and herniated and had to have a bowel resection and removed 60% of my intestines beginning in January of 2024. I didn’t leave until the end of January when a doctor was doing rounds. I want to go home today, or I’m gonna die here. I was down to 95 pounds, and they were feeding me IV. I could barely walk. Needless to say, this whole ordeal was a nightmare from the beginning. They butchered me, and every time my daughter came in to see me, I was worse. She is traumatized by this as well as myself. Many mistakes happened with the hospital as well as the 2 doctors involved. I was a healthy and very active 60-year-old woman who could do everything. Now I live with PTSD and fear. I can’t do most of the things I enjoyed because of this constant pain and pressure. I explain it this way: it’s like I’m wearing a wide, tight belt around my chest that never lets up and is constant. I can only sleep on my left side, so I don’t sleep well because I have to move when it gets numb. Sometimes I can’t control my bowels and have to be near a bathroom.I have permanent damage. I was in pain management, and they tried everything they could medically do without relief. So my friend told me about how he had stem cell therapy and how it’s helping him in only 2 weeks. <strong>This is my last hope of trying to relieve or lessen my pain.</strong> But it’s very expensive, and I live on disability and can’t afford it. <strong>Please help me to reach my goal.
