<div>Smallholder farmers grow most of Africa’s food, yet they face daily challenges that threaten their livelihoods and food security:

<div>At the same time, many African scientists want to develop practical, farmer-focused solutions (e.g., improved seeds, climate-smart practices, soil innovations), but often lack research infrastructure, field access, funding, and opportunities to work directly with farmers. This pilot bridges that gap.

<div>Farmers receive training and essential health support, while scientists gain real-world insights needed to design innovations that truly meet farmers’ needs. This two-way learning strengthens both sides and builds a foundation for scalable, locally driven solutions.
