<div><span style="letter-spacing:0.0085px;">More than </span><strong style="letter-spacing:0.0085px;">1 in 5</strong><span style="letter-spacing:0.0085px;"> people are disabled in Britain - that's </span><strong style="letter-spacing:0.0085px;">22%</strong><span style="letter-spacing:0.0085px;"> of the population.</span><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Our goal is to help unite the disabled community in a shared experience - to help reduce stress and improve wellbeing.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Adaptive yoga is designed to make yoga accessible to more people. Especially those who have injuries, limitations, disabilities or those who are elderly.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Adaptive yoga combines gentle <strong>movement</strong> , <strong>meditation</strong>, and deep <strong>breathing</strong>.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The efficacy of these interventions to help manage pain and reduce anxiety has been long established.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our <strong>online</strong> <strong>classes</strong> are taught by expert yoga teachers - all have had over 500 hours yoga teacher training and have been specially trained in adaptive yoga. The online classes include mostly seated poses so they are suitable for all ages and abilities and anyone sitting at home or in the office!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are also 100% committed to keeping you in the loop on where we are investing your funds and will update you with our progress.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In a world where independence is defined as "the ability to live, act, and travel without assistance"; where people requiring assistance, adaptive equipment, or simply more time to accomplish tasks are viewed as less capable; where stereotypes and socially defined labels diminish self-perceptions of one's own capacity to fully participate in society - can yoga really help people with disabilities feel empowered?
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>At AYL we say - YES it can!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We represent an underserved community with undertreated pain. We remove the biggest obstacles to wellbeing within the disabled community: inactivity, stress and loneliness, promoting disability awareness and education.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Your donations will help us reach more people in an effort to make yoga accessible to all!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you,
