<div>We are Gaucho Racing, a student-run engineering team from UC Santa Barbara competing in the Formula SAE Electric Competition. Every year, a team of 45+ passionate UCSB students design, build, and race a fully electric, Formula-style car from the ground up. The journey ends in June, when we compete against 70+ university teams at the national competition in Michigan.

<div>Our mission is to equip the next generation of engineers with real-world, hands-on experience in design, manufacturing, project management, electrical systems, data analysis, sustainability, and more. Our alumni go on to work in the automotive, aerospace, energy, and tech industries—because of what they learn here.
