<div>Hi, my name is Indie, I’m 7 years old and I’m raising money for a Hully Skipjack Pod to be used as an outdoor sensory space for my big brother.

</div>

<div>My brother is autistic and has learning disabilities. He is my best friend and I love spending time with him. Sometimes the world can feel very busy, loud, and overwhelming for him, and that can make things harder. I want to help create a place where he feels safe, calm, and happy.

</div>

</div>

<div>A sensory space is really important because it gives autistic people somewhere they can relax and regulate their feelings. The Hully Skipjack Pod would be a quiet, cosy outdoor space where my brother can take a break when things feel too much. It can help reduce anxiety, support emotional regulation, and give him a place where he can feel comfortable being himself. Being outdoors also helps him feel calmer and more settled.

</div>

<div>All the money raised will go towards buying and installing the Hully Skipjack Pod so my brother has a special sensory space that he can use whenever he needs it.

<div>I wrote this poem about my brother to show how much he means to me:

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>My brother is autistic,

</div>

<div>Sometimes it makes him flappy.

</div>

<div>My brother is autistic,

</div>

<div>Sometimes it makes him happy.

</div>

<div>My brother is autistic,

</div>

<div>Sometimes it makes him sad.

</div>

<div>My brother is autistic,

</div>

<div>That doesn’t make him bad.

</div>

<div>My brother is autistic,

</div>

<div>He see’s things a different way.

</div>

<div>My brother is autistic,

</div>

<div>There’s lots he cannot say.

</div>

<div>My brother is autistic,

</div>

<div>He doesn’t like a crowd.

</div>

<div>My brother is autistic,

</div>

<div>I love him and I’m proud.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Thank you for helping me support my brother and make a space where he can feel calm, safe, and proud of who he is.
